A LITTLE KNOW-HOW

How to use uuid generator

  1. Enter the number of UUID v4 identifiers, or load the example.
  2. Choose 1–100 identifiers and press Generate. UUIDs change only when requested.
  3. Review the result, copy it or choose a filename and download. Undo/redo applies to recent input edits; Reset clears the workspace.

A simple example

Generate between 1 and 100 identifiers, one per line.

What to keep in mind

Random UUIDs are not sortable timestamps. They are identifiers, not authentication tokens. Text inputs are limited to one million characters, output to four million, and worker processing to ten seconds. Recent undo history stays in memory only and is discarded when leaving the tool.

Good questions. Clear answers.

Does my input leave the device?

This workspace processes inputs and file bytes locally. Recent input edits remain in temporary memory for undo, and are discarded on Reset or when you leave. They are not saved to your account or browser storage.

Can I undo input edits?

Use Undo input or Redo input for recent text/settings edits. History is bounded and excludes file bytes and results. There is no automatic recovery after closing or refreshing the page.
