A LITTLE KNOW-HOW

How to use image resizer

  1. Choose a real PNG, JPEG or WebP image under 10 MB and 16 megapixels.
  2. Choose an original/half-size or social-size fit preset, or set width and height. The aspect lock preserves proportions; unlocking allows stretching.
  3. Convert, inspect the processed image preview and download your PNG. Changes to settings clear the previous download.

A simple example

A 1600 × 900 image becomes 800 × 450 when scaled to half width.

What to keep in mind

One image per task, 10 MB and 16 megapixels maximum. Canvas camera EXIF/GPS metadata is not copied and may change color profiles. Upscaling cannot restore missing detail.

Good questions. Clear answers.

Are images uploaded?

No. Your browser decodes, processes and exports the image. Your account does not store it.

Does conversion restore lost detail?

No. JPEG compression can lose detail, and resizing cannot reconstruct missing pixels. Keep the original.

What happens to image metadata?

Camera EXIF/GPS metadata is not copied. Browser-generated color or resolution metadata may remain.
